quicksilver 7.5 generator

i used the genset yesterday with a/c on and worked fine for about 20 minutes. noticed a/c stopped and checked ele panel, voltage was down to 25. shut everything down and waited 15 minutes and restarted generator, power spiked to 200 volts than dropped to 25 wondering if voltage regulator is bad. I reolaced it about 8 years ago

I had similar problem with the Voltage regulator. A.S.A.P LLC had the part. In addition, check all the connectors at the Voltage regulator. A bad connection can also give you the similar symptoms. good luck
