Any recommendations for something to rig up a quick release/hang for fenders on Sea Ray's retractable cleats?

I saw some generic hangers, but was wondering what's been found that works well with the specific cleats used on our boats.

I'm on a mooring and use fenders occasionally for few hours at a time.
I was thinking of some sort of a carabiner style clip that could just clip into the center hole on the cleat.
Something that would not take up a lot of cleat space, and minimize interference with dock lines attached to same cleat.

I think most of the sea ray sport boats use the same retractable cleat -if not let me know and I'll try to get a pic of mine.

It's always best if you can leave your cleats free for ropes. The nice thing to do is install actual fender cleats. If you don't want to to do that, you could simply tie a loop in the fender rope and hang the loop over the horns of the cleat. Use small (1/4") line.

Here's a shameless little plug (and please don't laugh - this was an early video... well, I guess you laugh if you want to!:smt001). Anyways, the video is about various fender cleats.

Surprisingly I can't seem to find what I believe to be the easiest and best solution for hanging fenders from cleats. They are flat plastic in the shape of a triangle with a very shallow slope. Think of a flattened down triangle. They have a hole in the point of the top of the triangle for a strap to the fender. The whole piece is thin enough to slide UP the hole of the cleat then it naturally lays across the top of the cleat with the line and the point pointed down. Extremely simple and effective. Almost impossible for it come off by accident and its thin enough that that a line can still be easily tied to the same cleat. I can't believe I can't find them online. Hopefully, the description makes sense.

This is the dohickie thing I was referring to that makes hanging a cleat a piece of cake.

We just use a clove hitch around a bow rail to set fenders. Hitches are fast to tie, easy to undo and will never let go when you don't want them to. Each of the fenders has about a 7' line on it so there's plenty of adjustment available for any height dock or rub rail.
