I live near Philadelphia and was scheduled to have the boat wrapped today (Saturday).

The storm was downgraded to a tropical storm but winds are still scheduled to be in the 45-60 mph region and they are saying it could be upgraded if things pick up.

The question is, should I continue forward with the shrink wrapping or postpone it until after the storm?

Thanks.

Doug

I really don't know the right answer but I see boats in shrink going down the interstate in excess of 75mph

If you have a camper canves or Bemini, you'lll need to stow them. This would leave your deck furnishings exposed to the elements. I would suggest you proceed with the shrink Wrap. If done properly, the wind forecasted should not be a problem.

I removed all the canvas and taped sheet plastic over the dash, nice and tight- well sealed. Canvas is nothing but a kite in extreme winds. It is a boat after all, floor drains and seats will dry, it can get wet. Good luck everyone, stay safe.
