Have a 2004 SeaRay 185 Sport that has the black graphics on each side. Probablly about 12 plus inches tall along the side of the boat.

Do you wax the graphics or do you want to stay away and just wash?

What about the pinstrips along the top rail. Can you wax an buff over the top fo them also?

Thanks

I don't know the going feel for this, but on my 210SEL, I waxed over my graphics and letters BY HAND. I never, however, used any power tools on them.

edit: I was slower than boatingnut.

Be careful what type of wax you use, I use Gary's Royal Satin wax and it will take the color out of decals as it contains a compound. It is the only wax I have used for over 10 years now, nothing better out there.

Oh no, don't dare ask this question on this board...you may get your hands slapped. A lot of the guys can't stand for anyone to ask a question that has been asked before. This will start a war - not that I care, I would steer clear of the letters. Even if you are careful you will get residue on them.

You guys go easy on him...I shudder to think what the responses will be
