Has anyone had a problem getting your MFD to recognize a Quantum Radome? I removed my open array and replaced it with the dome (for local bridge clearance Issues). Now the a127 doesn’t see the Radome. Very frustrating!

Thanks for the response....I’ll call on Monday! What firmware revision is your MFD? Wired or WiFi? It might need an update. Look on the Raymarine forum, there should be a lot of info. It could be the radome has newer firmware than the MFD, and not compatible.
I would call Raymarine on Monday and have them talk you through the procedure. I can’t recall specifics but you might have to update in a specific order, including down grading to a previous version on the MFD, and then connecting the radar and bring the system up to date.
This might help, but there might be other troubleshooting how tos on their website...

I have tried both at the dock as well as underway far from competing WIFI signals. I need to log in to the Ray Marine Forum and see what advice they have to offer. If your at the dock, other WiFi signals may overwhelm you signal. Does it help to try and connect seat from the dock?
I just found my issue. The dealer sells a “Y” splitter to connect the existing Ray Cable to the Quantum. That splitter was not allowing the a127 to get a signal from the dome. I installed the Separate cables that came with the new Quantum ......the power cable was much larger than the old one. The system fired right up and recognized the Quantum immediately.I have tried both at the dock as well as underway far from competing WIFI signals. I did a similar conversion to yours recently and used that "Y" splitter (part #A80308) first without problem. Basically it's just using the single cable from the open array which includes power and data. But I eventually ran the two cable set up from the dash to the dome and it worked too.I just found my issue. The dealer sells a “Y” splitter to connect the existing Ray Cable to the Quantum. I may just go hard wire myself from the gs165. I dint know that was an option.I did a similar conversion to yours recently and used that "Y" splitter (part #A80308) first without problem. I never tried the WiFi route.
I bought Wi-Fi and it sucked. I went back to hard wire and it works great. a127...
