Anyone headed to the Bay this weekend? We will be there Friday to Sunday, staying at Miller Marina. We should be right on the dock outside the Harbormaster's office. Look us up if you plan to come out. Weather looks great!

We're going to Kelley's for Friday-Sunday am, then to the Crew's Nest for Sunday thru Wednesday. We will probably miss you this time, but if we cross paths I'll buy you a drink. We're the "THIRD SHIFT".

We have the family coming in from out of town... Not sure where we are going to end up... Regardless have a great weekend all...

Just missing you. Sitting in Cleveland at lakeside right now enjoying a bevy. Heading into Sandusky tomorrow but winds are predicted to pick up. Not sure where to stay there. I'll take suggestions!

If staying in Sandusky, you can try the Paper District Marina or Cedar Point Marina. Paper District is within walking distance to downtown Sandusky and relatively inexpensive ($1/ft) Nice place.

Cedar Point is right at the amusement park.

Thanks. I think we'll be staying at cedar point while in Sandusky to take in the park. Plans have changed and now looking into Kelleys island tomorrow for a couple days. Where do you recommend a marina with a laid back setting?

Your options at Kelleys are somewhat limited. Portside marina is right in town and very nice facility wise. A south wind may leave you rocking and rolling a little though. With the forecasted NE winds you should be fine. For a more laid back marina look to Sea Way. It's a half mile from town, so a bit of a walk but a nice walk or you could rent a golf cart for the time you are there and not worry about it.

Sounds good. We have our bikes too. NE winds is so odd! If I go there I know they will change to S

I don't think they would have any issue with that. Might want to call in the AM to check to be sure. . Sea Way's number is (419) 746-2506 and Portside is (419) 746-2668.

Sea way can take a 44 dancer if there's not another large group. Enjoy it what ever you do.

We're going to Kellys/PIB next weekend and staying at Portside. I've been reading it can be a little rocky sleeping on the boat, so hopefully its not too windy.

We'll be at PIB on Friday and we'll have our two lab retrievers with us, so it'll be interesting to see how they do with the gold cart! If you see a cart with two overexcited dogs thats probably us. :)

I never made it to Miller to greet The Kru. Heading back again on Friday though.

I'll look for 2 excited dogs in a cart. I actually meant to scope around the cart rental options to see if I could recommend a place whose carts have a fold-down back seat - that can be a lot a easier for dogs. I didn't get around to that either though, sorry. I drink.
