Is there someone who has researched the best place to purchase some new dock lines?

Premium Black-
3/4", 25'-50' range

Looking for best bang for the buck deals...

Thanks!!

I bought all new 5/8" lines last year. Defender had the best deal i could find.

I just bought a roll of anchor line and spliced up the loops on both the ends to fit my dock at my condo they are white but fit perfect

West Marine lines are made by New England Ropes. They go on sale a couple times per year.

I get my 3/4" black lines from Defender. I think they are Sampson brand but not positive.

This route will likely be your cheapest regardless of your source of line. I do the same only I tend to use bowline knots for mine instead of splicing (although I do have some spliced ones for critical usage). Although the bow line is supposed to be able to be untied easily when there is no load I can never untie mine. I have never had one loose.

I have been pleased with my WM lines. WM will match any price you find from a marine retailer. That is my "default" deal. Where else can you get the lowest internet price, no shipping if you pick up at the store, and points toward your Gold Rewards? MM

Defenders always have the best prices wait until the end of March for the wharehouse sale and prices are even cheaper.

I use WM 99% of the time for those very reasons! We got back $70 last quarter!!!!

Same here. I don't recall who makes them, but I catch those sale dates and get the lines at very reasonable cost. I've been very happy with premium lines. With so many positive feedback on defender I think it's worth watching when their lines go on sale.
