pull thermostat?

I've read a few winterization checklists here and I'm surprised no one pulls their thermostat. This would seem to me to be an important step if you run antifreeze from the outdrive. If not, you really don't know if antifreeze is going through the entire cooling system. Another benefit is you can inspect the housing, touch up any hidden rust spots and free stuck bolts and hoses.
