Protect/clean 06 340 Factory Wood/laminate flooring

Our 06 340 has the optional factory laminate wood flooring in an area in front of the galley and on the stairs. Looking for ideas what to use to clean and protect this flooring. I have been told many of today's cleaning products will ruin the floors finish. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no help...but looking forward to hearing the answer from someone. We have the factory 'teak' flooring throughout (which we love) and have not done anything other than to clean it when needed. I have thought about oiling but was never sure if this was a good idea.

A damp rag, water only for daily cleaning. Check out what is recommended from from the mfg via your local dealer. SR did not make it, they jobbed it out. If the dealer is of litle help, call corporate. A throw rug to protect it. My fear is anything else would put a slick finish on it and then it becomes hockey rink time.

We have the factory teak flooring in the cabin too. The PO had neglected it and it was a dirty looking silverish color. I cleaned it with teak cleaner (from West Marine) and then oiled it and the difference was amazing! It sucked the oil in like crazy and is now a beautiful brown color. Now I clean and oil it once a year.

We finally oiled the teak flooring in the cabin. Looks great, and no issue tracking it on our shoes. I should have done it a year ago!
