propeller size for440 Express bridge,

Hi all.

i know exact propeller selection is sort of boat specific. but if i have the same hull and same engines we should use basically the same props :-O

Can any of you guys on here with 440express bridge boats. with Cat 3126 engines tell me what props u run please and if you achieve the 2800 rpm that Cat says you are supposed to get with these engines.

I recently got one and its only turning 2500rpm. so im guessing im over propped.

Hull and props perfectly clean.

Not quite the same boat, but I just trialed a '99 400 Sedan Bridge with a clean bottom and it also only reached 2500 rpm on CAT 3116 with 22x24 props, with full tanks. It was presented that 22x23 props would get it to 2800, but new props haven't been installed to verify that.

FWIW: 1996 420AC - 22 x 21.6. WOT shows 2850rpm on stock TACs. Could be same hull as yours with similar weight.
