Im looking for some advice on a prop issue. I have a 30' dancer with alpha one drives, when i removed my props for the winter season, I noticed that one of my hubs was depressed approx 1/2" when compared to the other. To my best guess, I probably have a spun hub or at least getting close to it. Is it better to have the hubs replaced or just invest into two new props ?

Any suggestions ?

My bias is to always have set of spares. I bought a new boat in 2004 and ordered a spare set of nibral props. A lot of people don't realize that it takes 6 weeks to have a set of props made by Michigan Wheel. They don't stock them. They build them to order. 6 weeks is a long time to wait. Some of the more common props are probably off the shelf, but still, you eliminate a lot of hassle by having a spare(s) on the boat.
