:smt101:smt017My 410 is powered by twin 454 mag mpi engines. I am topping out on my rpms at around 3900. I have read that I should be able to get in the mid to upper 4000s. Could this be that the boat is propped for salt water ??? I got it last fall in Florida and moved it to fresh water. The question is do you prop a boat differently for salt than fresh water??? Have you had your props tuned? Also, your running gear and bottom may be fouled.

Boats are not propped differently for fresh water vs salt water. They are sometimes propped differently for sea level vs high altitude.

You may be able find OEM prop info for your boat on the Sea Ray website.

Thanks for both of your responces , I have not had the props reworked and the bottom and running gear is pretty clean. Thanks again for your imput.

Email Searay off the link on their web site.
They will provide all the specs of your boat from the factory.
