Prop install

So when you install a inboard prop do you put it on dry or use never seez

Dry. Install the prop first without the key (don't tighten the nut) and mark where the prop sits on the key way. Remove the prop, install the key and reinstall the prop using the big nut and make sure it reaches the spot you marked on the shaft. Remove the big nut, install and tighten the small nut then install and tighten the big nut. If the prop doesn't reach the spot you marked (magic marker works well) then you need to file the key way till the prop fits or try another key way.
