Prop for 1995 Sea Ray 180 Bowrider

Hello, I just bought this boat and it has a 5 blade prop on it. I was wondering what the original prop was that it came with and weather a Mercury 48-823510A19 power 2 prop variable pitch would work on my boat. It has the 4.3 ltr mercruiser motor and leg. Thanks for any info. Ps. The stainless variable pitch is used for sale for 200 bucks, a good deal IMHO

Should be at 17 or 19 pitch three blade others will chime in and help you out I think five blade is a little extreme myself

Clarification needed... you said you have a 4.3L engine and leg. That's incorrect. The 4.3L is the engine size - nothing to do with the lower unit. Your signature says you have a Bravo lower unit... that would be highly unlikely. Do you have an Alpha lower unit?

Is that a High 5 prop by Mercury? That's an EXCELLENT prop.

As noted above, Sea Ray's website has a prop chart and will show your original prop.

BUT... before you start changing props... and especially before we can offer any recommendations, we need more info.

-- What is the current performance? Just you... WOT... trimmed up just before ventilation... what's your MAX RPM and speed (GPS, ideally)?
