Hello Friends,
I'm currently working on this 82 270 Sundancer. Got the boat for free...now we all know, boats are not free. I have already spent a good penny(or two) on a new drive, prop, manifolds, risers, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, the list goes on. There is nothing like the feeling of getting out on the water. Check out this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw3runZBq2A), the boat is far from complete but it moves. Thanks to a nice four blade stainless prop. Still looking for a factory seat for the helm, going to do carpet on deck and down below. Who cares, it's on the water. Check out the video. I am posting this for anyone who is in the South Florida area, more precisely, the Treasure Coast. I did a lot of the work myself but when it came to an outdrive, I was fortunate to get connected with Unlimited Boat Service and Parts, Inc. in St. Lucie West. They really know what they are doing and took care of me. Check out the video, there will be more to follow. Like I said, the boat is nowhere near complete but it's close. Mostly cosmetics now. Check out the video and let me know what you think. Any Sundancer owners out there looking to part with a bench seat that will fit a 270 Sundancer, let me know. I will see most of you at the sandbar this weekend, Aquapalooza. If you don't know about it, drop me a note and I can give you details. For now, the link to the video is as follows: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw3runZBq2A Good Stuff! Take note of the Rottie in the movie, he basically supervises the whole operation so I could not leave him out. LOL!
