New to me 2007 340 DA. Problem is with the light that is on top of the radar arch for anchoring and navigation.

When the boat was surveyed, the light worked. When it was moved, the standard was layed over, light worked. When it was stood back up straight, navigation light did not work. Anchor light did work.

Friend of mine was looking at it for me. Tried replacing bulb's, cleaning contact with eraser, etc - could not make light work. He replaced the standard with a new one, which only had single bulb for 360. He then did something with the switch, that allowed the 360 degree anchor light to come on when the nav lights were one.

Worked in that manner at the slip. Was out last night, checked while out at dusk, everything working. Got back into the slip, no longer works.

Note, when the light is not working, the small light on the lazerrette also does not work.

Any thoughts?

Yes, meant the stern light that faces backwards. Boat has not been on salt water but wondering if it is a control pad issue. My friend thought that it might be, that's why the approach of combining the anchor with the navigation.
