Hi, I own 36 Sedan Bridge in Japan and have problem with the vacuum pump.
On the touch screen I can not press the vacuum pump. It does not turn green.
Also the holding tank does not show the percentage at all.
Does anybody know why it does not work?
Right now I attached the vacuum pump directly from the battery so that it works.

Check with Joe, who is Havana Shamrock, I think he has the same boat as yours.

Hi Susanandlance
Thank you for the comment.
I just started using this site and I don't know how to find Joe.
I would like to ask him but had problem looking for him...

Thank you
Regards, Fumiaki

In the search bar, upper rt. hand corner, type in Havana Shamrock, then you can send a private message to him with your questions.

Hey, just saw this thread, if the pump works when directly hooked to the battery that tells us tht there has to be a problem between the switch and pump, did you open the tv and check all the manual breakers? If so. And all is good there could be a problem with the board that controls that device . I have not has this problem ill contact another member here that has more experience with the 36DB.

I would reset the system.....Go into the bilge from the salon and you will see on the firewall a knob to reset....I will try to find a picture to show you the knob/switch

That pic looks like a joke, with a wall of switches to choose from . Thanks for following up John.
thats the only thing I could come up with was a breaker also. If I remember the vacuum pump only flushes the head.he also stated that the guage doesn't show water in the holding tank Which I'm now guessing is on the same circuit as the vacuum pump. I'm betting its the breaker.

I know, I dont know how to circle on a picture.........It is the knob at 1:00 from the square thing in the middle of the picture....How is that for lingo..lol

Hi Havana
I have checked the tv and all the breakers were working. But isn't if the AC power? I don't know where the main power is. I've checked the E-PLEX module and there was 12V coming. Also the bilge pump is working. Only the vacuum pump power is not coming from the module. The tank gauge doen't work also at the same time. Is there something related? Or is it something with my E-PLEX?
Thank you!

Thank you very much for the pictures. I have tried the reset several times but didn't work... Is it something with the E-PLEX???

I have tried all sorts of things but I can't figure out how to fix it.
Also I started thinking it might be some trouble with the E-PLEX. It works fine but somehow only the vacuum pump wire doesn't give
electricity. So that is why I attached the wire directly to the battery. When I bought my boat it was working fine. Everybody thank you
very much! I feel really happy that I joined this club!

E PLEX in the stern
the 12V (dc) is coming till here by the thick red wire. but the wire to the vacuum pump is not working. no electricity so I have attached it directly to the battery.

All that fancy touch screen stuff is nice to have but a problem as small as something like this is just way to much hassle and way to expensive to fix. Give me wires a switch and some relays and call it a day. Way to complicated best of luck and no ujoe as long as you keep the short jokes coming im gunna keep the diesel jokes rolling
