Just got back from trip and the starboard fuel primers so leaking badly. I am supposed to be leaving for another trip tomorrow however I am probably going to have to put it off a day. I have 3116 cats and just below the yellow primer knob there is a small yellow know that can rotate 90 degrees. That is where it is leaking. I am going to try to find the part locally here tomorrow and install it. Anyone have any experiences or advice they would like to share? Can you eliminate the system entirely?

The smaller knurled knob is a simple ball valve that shuts off the fuel to the priming pump. If the ball valve is leaking around the stem, you can try closing it, but if they continue to leak, expect to have to get replacements from Caterpillar.

If you have lost the index, try turning the knob about 90 degrees to close it.
