So I think my lower unit has internal freeze damage. I winterized the block and everything inside but I think rain water must have collected in the lower unit and cracked it. I just went to start her up to get ready for the season and have water shooting out of the tip of the lower unit.

I just changed the oil in the lower unit and had no water in the oil when I drained. Fyi.

So how fucked am i?

It's a Bravo 3 drive and from talking to someone else they said that is the lower water pick up. So i might be okay

You've got the extra water intakes at the forward edge of the bullet.

You may need more than just a set of muffs to run that on the trailer.

Thanks everyone. Bought the boat in October and used it twice before putting it up for the winter. We had a week of freezing temps which is unusual for where I am and my mind just went to straight " im screwed" mode.

I don't recall water shooting out that much in the two times I used it but it must because it was already full of water from use.

Just the low water pick up. All good. Place duct tape over those front holes when it is dry then put muffs on it to run.
