Pretty amazing what a guy can do when he's "one with his boat". It's obvious that skipper has spent a LOT of time on his sailboat. Interesting rigging on that mainsheet. I don't think I've ever seen one quite like that.

Thanks for the video.

That is pretty darn cool. I had to do some googling after seeing that. Apparently this is a type of racing they do in Norway. The boats must be built to specific specs and it's been done that way since about 1939.

That guy has real skills! Sailing doesn't appeal to me in the least, my kids do it and love it, but I never saw the attraction. That being said, I can certainly appreciate that guy's impressive skills.

Though my sailing skills were nothing like this guys - I had a wonderful two years living in Stavanger many years ago and would often drive down to where I think he is at the Kragero resort area for the weekend, it is truly a wonderful place to spend time on the water (well .... for four months, bloody cold outside summer)

Some great cycling and off-roading also in the area. It looks like he knows every nook and cranny of those Skerries, obviously put many hours into his boat, great to watch and admire, brought back memories - thanks for posting.

Wow that was pretty freaking cool. He's got some skills and kahones!

My last boat was a sailboat, and I must say I'm impressed with his skills, but what impressed me more was the admiral in the video wasn't hitting him, like mine would have been if I were sailing there... :) #FreakedMineOut
