Pretty Cool Idea

Drives me crazy when the teenager (or anyone for that matter) stops 15 car lengths short of a red light or when they drive 25mph on an on- ramp to the interstate because they're texting.
 
That was great! I don't text while driving but geez if I did after seeing this I'd quit.

Seems weird that if they have the technology to send a "ring" signal to everyone's phone at the same time why can't they send "jam" signals through the ecm's on the cars? :smt017. Good vid.
 
Ken, thanks for posting that. I copied the link and sent it to several people I know who are in the age group where they might be texting while driving.

Cell phone jammers are old technology. It's generally illegal to use them in the US.
 
Thanks Ken for posting, my 20yr old daughter wrecked her car yesterday while talking on her phone while driving. Fotunalty nobody was hurt but could have been much worse, no longer will I fund her bad habit. :smt021

Anything to make people aware of the consequences.

I'm tired of friends telling me they are good drivers when they text and talk on their cell phones while behind the wheel. You are not a good driver if you think it's acceptable.
