Well the deal is done
Meet my "new" 1985 340DA bought off of Lake Cumberland yesterday
She is to be delivered to Lake Monroe in Indiana June 18th.
She needs a little love cosmetically...mainly the exterior teak but the interior is near pristine and
all systems appear functional
Twin 350hp Crusaders and a 4.0 Onan gennie.

Congrats again Jim!!!! Glad your search is over and now you can just enjoy going boating!!

Good job Jim.....left you a message. Call if I can do anything for you. So you know how long I have been here, I would be the person that sprayed the gel coat on your hull and deck...and it sure looks like it is holding up well.

Moving up brother!

I'm sorry, but I cannot get into the looks of the new Sea Ray line. The "Euro Look" or "Batmobile" or what ever Sea Ray designers have gone to just does not have any appeal to me. This 85 is classic beauty! There are a lot of good used older Sea Ray's sitting around just waiting for a good owner. Take care of her and remember, boats don't wear out, they die of neglect and abuse.

Congratulations, guess the hole in the water just grew!

Congratulations Jim. Well done. Timeless lines and built like tanks. I may just have to drop by and admire her sometime this summer.

Great looking boat Jim! I imagaine you are chomping at the bit to get her home. Congrats!

surprisingly she started right up after being static for 5 years...I pulled as much bird nest out of the mufflers that I could reach
but the rest blew right out...a few eggs and a baby bird didn't make it though.
and the old Onan fired with a shot of carb cleaner and ran immediately.
The dealer down there is repacking the shafts and rudders ...draining the fuel tanks and replacing all 3 impellers and the batteries this week and the hauler will be picking her up on the 17th.

one of the best looking classics (I know I am biased ). Congrats buddy and i'm here to help if i can!

Thought I was gonna have to get you to help decode the canvas..
never seen so much sunbrella in my life.
Came with a full camper enclosure(shown) and an extra full set with a slant back
full bow cover and cockpit cover, dash cover, spotlite cover, hailer horn cover, zip covers for the folded biminis
and a couple of pieces I still haven't identified.

Congratulations! Cheers to many great seasons!

Awesome Jim, simply awesome! I gather you will be at Fourwinds? Let me know which slip number so I can come over with congratulatory beverages!
