Hi Guys

Have arrived at my boat for a 2 week stay, (2002 Sundancer 460) and find that the 12 volt socket we use for phone chargers in the Galley is not working.

I have got it out, there is no voltage to the socket.

Can someone please advise where the fuse might be for this or where does the 12 volts come from.

Thanks

Graham

I've had a similar problem where my 12v socket at the helm. I unplugged mine and re-seated the connection and it worked again. I thought it might have been attached to a gfci or breaker, but actually direct attached to my battery. This was the only way I was able to get my engine hood up when my batteries died, I had to backfeed the power with a jump pack

Hello Graham-
I wish I could assist you on this one, but I have the same issue. It has never bothered me, therefore I haven't tracked down the problem. I would suggest reseating all the plugs as the electrical gremlins can come in that form. As a suggestion, look on the bulkhead in the ER for a possible fuse. Sorry I can't help you further. Best of luck! Let me know what you discover.
Thanks,
Stuart
