I have a 1985 Sundancer 260 with 260 hp Mericruiser and according to mechanic, I need a new pump. This was back on July 5 and he claims he's having difficulty locating replacement pump? A month without my boat with such a short season, and at this point now repair in sight! Is it really that hard to locate or am I waiting around for nothing?

Check Napa or gohere it is an easy fix but pretty expensive . I found these . If there are Marinas around you some times they will have a junk boat you can take one off of.
