Potomac River Party Boaters Association

Tradition? Really? This is a traditional festivity?

If you have a boat and live on the Potomac river (or tributary) then, yes, it is indeed an annual tradition. Its more of a tradition than a sport, actually...but I bet there's some people that would disagree with that assessment.

Hey, how long does it take to motor from colonial beach to occoquan, you have any idea? What type of boat/cruising speed?

Don't mind the Jersey haters, they are just pissed that they have to pay huge slip fees and all kinds of taxes. Those of us in Gods country are a threat to their fight to be the "in cliche" They like to fight with the Fla crew and now another dog in the fight only weakens the grip on second place:smt038
If I ever get in the water, I'll gladly join the club, and bring the evil Jerseyites down!

Is there a kids corner. Our "party on the potomac" now includes an 8 year old and a 5 year old? Were in the far, far, right hand corner of the picture from aquapalooza at Tim's on your facebook page.

mfreez - I'm not a charter member of the PRPBA but am an Colonial Beach almost every weekend during the summer. You find the "kids corner" on the east side of Tims 2. We've got a 9 yr old and 6 yr old (both girls) who are always looking for friends to play with. See you there!!

lcm133 - at 30 mph, it should take you about 35-40 minutes to get to Colonial beach - I put in at Leesylvania Park and get there in 25 minutes at 30 mph. Enjoy the ride

I was at the Riverboat yesterday for a few hours. There was me, a small Bayliner and a 32 ft go fast boat. We had dinner at High Tides and listened to the one man band.
