Possible solution to high fuel prices

I am curiously waiting to see which state will be first to tax the degree of “wind deflection” caused by sailboats which encourage sailing vessels to keep the sails at a lower angle thus conserving more wind energy for the wind mills and generating tax revenue for the loss of fuel tax.

El Capitan, Outboards with jet pumps instead of props is better for shallow water.

Looks like a good choice for those waters Thornton.

We love our little seadoo jet boat. We can run 8 hours on 22 gallons and the waverunner.

I think that’s an outboard not a jet but looks like heaven out there.
It's a factory Merc jet with a UHM intake installed for taking hard impacts. The boat also has a tunnel so it can run in an honest 3" of water.

Is that your Sunfish? I had one of those many, many years ago. I spent hundreds of hours on it every summer. Loved that boat.
No, but when I was young my cousin gave me hers when she got married, which was similar, but yellow. When I got in trouble with the 4hp Merc. (10 mph lake), the Sunfish was all I had for the rest of the weekend at the lake.
