Possible purchase

There is a boat for sale, a 1992 440 DA. The lady selling it unfortunately lost her husband early this year

It has twin Cummings diesels & at this point I don't know much else about it exept that it is extremely well taken care of. Am going to make arrangements to view it this week

She is asking (I think) a bit more than its real value.....$124,000.00 CAN

I googled a few of them to compare prices & there is quite a spread for the same year & boat

I don't wish to even attempt to take advantage of a lady who lost her husband, yet if she is negotiable I would be willing to make her an offer, subject to a survey & sea trials of course

Would anyone in the know care to pass an opinion on what would be a good & fair price to purchase this boat for ?

There was one 1993 440DA sold in the first quarter with diesels........listed for $124K US and sold for $124K US in 5 months. My guess is that it was a pristine freshwater boat

With any boat 5 years old and older, condition means everything when it comes to value................
