I recently bought a 88 415 aft cab. Loving the boat and is my first purchase. We purchased it near toms river nJ and took the maden voyage back to Florida after purchase.

Between ocean city and chickateague va the seas went from 2-3 to 5-6. Waves were washing up over the bow pulpit to the cabin windows. Over all I felt the boat handled well.

Jumping ahead the waves blew out the forward portlight. After loosing a towel and moving blanket through the 6x18" window my father held a seat cushion against the window until we made it to chickateague. (1.5 hours) To keep the water from filling the bow. Needless to say we did take on a lot of water and the bilge pumps worked great!

The people of Chickateague live up to the town slogan "The friendliest town in America". Temporarilly I put silicon and plywood over all 4 windows to be safe.

Any suggestions for repairing the window. They are more for looks than light. I'm considering removing all four and fiberglassing over.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Thanks Brian
