Hi all it's getting to be that time of year again to start thinking ahead.
I think if we can get enough people interested Wise Sales might be willing to give us a group discount on there generators.
I know the last two years I have come home to a warm refrigerator and no power for several days. Each time I wonder why I had not purchased a portable power supply and have to go through this mess again and the COST of wasted food!
The kind people at Wise are willing to help. I'm not sure of the discount yet but at this time time those who are interested please post a reply.

Thanks,
Tom

Appears as though you are talking about for use on land at your house. You may want to specify before all heck breaks loose about the dangers of using a portable generator on a boat.

Phew. Glad you clarified, it does get messy.

You also must be talking about one with auto-transfer...

Awe, I was looking forward to a good heated debate. lol

I'm sad.....I was so looking forward to some fun and heated posts too... Oh well. Last year we replaced ours but finding a electrician to put a transfer switch in is almost impossible

with that on the swim you could run electric motors and save gas ....right?

I participated in the CSR group buy of the Honda generators. Best money i've spent. those things just run. I use it all the time. Being an urban dweller, I just throw it in my truck with my power tools and find an empty lot and crank it up.
