Hello All! I have a 1997 330 Da that I damaged the port bilge vent cover on Labor day. after searching high & low in multiple countries I have come to the conclusion that a replacement does not exist. I have also posted here on used parts to no avail. I am located in Central suffolk county , Long Island , NY. I was wondering if any other 330 Da owner ( 96-99) lived locally and would be willing to loan/rent me their cover. I found a plastic guy in Bayport who can make a vacuum mold off an existing part. Unfortunately approx 1/3 of mine is at the bottom of the great south bay. The plastic guy is going to check with his mold guy to see if he can make a mirror image off the stbd side. The way this has played out I am going to assume the worst which led me to this request. I know its a little different but I would appreciate any help you can give. Thank you. Todd:smt100

Ping Mrs. Robinson via e-mail. He had one.
Aready did that thanks. He was able to purchase what must have been the last available set in the WORLD! He used the port one ( which is the one I needed) then sold the other one when he sold the boat. I believe he's running a Cruisers now. But thanks anyway.....

A ha! No wonder Greg abandoned us...and I thought it was because everybody picked on his buddy Wingless.

Alright guys dont all jump at once! LOL I got the loaner if I want. Plastic guy had a hookup. Dilemma now is do I want to spend $1000 plus to get molds made then new vent covers ( He recommended doing both sides) then getting the covers painted to match the boat.

I too am after the port side cover for my 98 330 DA and if you get the mould made I will buy one of each off you.

Sensible price of course :)

Tony, That sounds good. I am currently trying to get my fiberglass guy to make them cheaper. he can make an impression mould as opposed to the injection mould. He already made the stbd side mould and is looking to get a loaner for the port. The plastic guy wanted significant $ to loan it to him. I guess everybody has to make a buck! I'll be in touch when we make progress. Todd

He stole a repo'd 3880 Regal.

What exactly do you need for the cover mold.

ha, sounds familiar. I went through this with the 370 Dancer, 1998. A good buddy here loaned me his Stbd vent, and I had a Fiberglas guy do the deed making molds. It's not as easy as you think. The plastic vents may melt, pit, etc in the process. The good news, is the glass ones are just fine, and waiting for the second happiest day of my life.
Right Jon?!! They came out about 375-400 a pair.

Meanwhile, I've got a killer half step for boarding on both sides.

Hi David, I actually need and existing cover for the fiberglass guy to make an impression mould from. That is why I was seeking local help. Thanks , Todd
