Guys - I posted this under maintenance with no response so far so will try here.
have the seemingly common problem of my trim sender is out of alignment. On the port sender it will go to 0 degrees if i trim to about 5 degrees but fully down it shows 25 degrees.
I am not too concerned and will fix properly when i pull the boat this winter - but i have read on a few threads that there is a way to stop the Hi alarm sounding. Yet none of them I have found describe how to do it.
In my case it sounds every time I go up or off plane and sometimes when just cruising. I have re calibrated and that does not help - but for now I just want to stop the Hi trim alarm sounding.
Anybody know how to do that?
