Port Side Alarm - How Do I Isolate Problem ??

:huh: Alarm comes and goes !! After running for 15 -20 minutes, beeping alarm sounds ! I shut down the Port side for 5 min. and it runs again w/o the alarm for 5-10 min. and the alrm returns !

It's got to be an over-heating issue in the Water, Oil, or Tranny, does it not? How do I isolate what it is ??

Are your gauges are all reading withing spec?

Had the same issue on my ole 01 260, heat related. I replaced the impeller...alarm was gone.

Also happend when I was low on gear oil....
