Took the boat out for the first time this season. Noticed the port engine was running at a lower rpm. While trying to match the starboard motor’s power I realized I had the port throttle all the way forward and still could not get full power. The vessel view showed all metrics were equal except for PSI at the bottom of the screen. At neutral the port read .9 and starboard was 2.2. The engines are Magnum 496 8.1. What could the problem be? Local dealer is booked solid so I have to wait before they can look at it.

whens the last time basic tuneup was done? I know it seems simple, plugs and wires and fuel filter if they’re old, but those 8.1’s have been known to eat plugs and cause some weird stuff

I chased a problem like this and found 4 out of 8 fuel injectors were 20 % clogged, Clean the fuel injectors
I also had a bad spark plug wire.
