Port Lambton in fire, Lake St-Clair, Ontario

That's one reason why I like mine at home, Mike.

Our previous boat was winter stored in that building and it seemed like a fairly good facility. Both Canadian and American boats were there.

This operator is first class. Many of my friends and neighbors lost their boats in this fire, when I heard about the fire I went down to see it and although it had been burning for approx 4 hrs before I got there it was still going strong.Whenever you mix fiberglas and thousands of gallons of fuel you know it is going to burn for quite a while.I spoke with marina manager and he was completely distraught worrying about his customers. At the end of the day nobody was hurt and boats are replaceable.Phil

Yes. . . . . but sometimes in life you have to view the "loss of material things" as an "opportunity to upgrade".

This is, afterall as Mike says, why you have insurance.
