Port instrument cluster dead

The left hand instrument gauge for my port engine isn't working. All needles for oil pressure, engine temp, fuel and voltage read zero while underway. How should I try to repair?

Check wiring and grounds, maybe bad connection

Jiggle ignition switch, could be back connection there.

I did nothing, and now it works! F-ing boats!

Gotta maintain your F-ing boat. Power comes in on the purple wire, clean it and the ground wire.

Probably not the best answer, been having that problem intermittently for years . Cleaned and grounded everything you could think of. All I do now is jiggle the wirering harness once in a wile and it’s usually good for 6 months
