Was down at the boat this morning and getting ready to move it over to the haul out for bottom paint. Shut down the shore power breaker, turned on batteries, set to "both". Ignition keys in panel on, switches on. Went to flybridge, toggled port engine start, nothing. toggled starboard engine and it cranked and started. Tried emergency start on port engine, nothing, would not even crank over. Tried several times, jiggled the shifter lever to make sure it was in neutral. Went back down and turned on shore power and battery charger. port engine started. Think I may have a bad battery??? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike.

Bad battery:smt009...My first thought....Relieved that it started, nothing more serious

Sounds like it.
If the port battery were stone dead, or had an internal short, paralleling them with the emergeny start solenoid probably wouldn't do any good.

I am a bit surprised that your charger puts out enough amperage to crank the starter.
