The hour meter on my Port engine is intermittent and when tapped it comes on briefly then goes dark again. Hours are not being recorded while it is "dark". Currently 670 hours and wondering if these are prone to failure? I haven't been to the boat since I noticed it while docking last week but I was thinking about removing the instrument cluster to check for a loose wire. Any thoughts on possible trouble shooting this issue? As always, Thanks gentlemen
