In my area one of the more affordable area's on the water is called the Inlets on the Manatee river in Bradenton. Houses that sold for $600k 5 years ago are going for around $350k. Have some friends there and thy really like the community. 15 minutes from your backyard to get to Tampa Bay another 20 minutes and your out in the gulf.

Noticed the Development, it's Beautiful!!! I didn't see any for sale for less than $399k. I'm trying to figure out the Covered entrances into the Canals and what the width is?? :huh:

The covered lifts are to pickup the boat and drop it from the fresh water canal to the salt water. Max on the crane is 20,000 lb so you would probably need to be on one of the saltwater canals with a 310. There have been a few on the saltwater that sold in the mid 300's in the last 6 months (no ones gettin their asking price and some are being walked away from because the original owners paid way too much during the boom). The admiral is pushing to move there.
