Hi All,

I recently came accross a weekly podcast on the "World of Boating" website. I would have posted the link, but it's not working right now. Check out the website, and you'll find it pretty easily on the maroon bar near the top. It's called ((WOB)) Radio, and it's based in the FL area.

Are there any others out there that I should know about?

Kevin

Also, is anything going on anymore with "TheBoatersTV", or is this down for good? It's still showing up on MadMariner.com, but there seems to be nothing current.

I enjoy the World of Boating podcast. There's not a whole lot of real deep boating discussion but it's entertaining. It's like listening to a morning show that has a boating theme.

Aside from Mad Mariner, I don't know of any other boating podcasts. I tune into "From The Water Show" via my iPhone -- it's the morning radio show from the Keys that focuses on local news and fishing reports. Hosted by Capt. Marlin Scott. Check out www.floridakeysradio.com.

Yes, TheBoatersTV is on permanent hiatus to the best of my knowledge.

I saw a thing on TV the other day about Julie Perry (?), the original TBTV (The Boater's TV) host. Looks like she's getting around much better now, but still very sad that she's disfigured as a result of the bike crash. She was a passenger on one of those little carts pulled by a bike down in FL. It was a hit-and-run, and the operator was uninsured.

There is a video podcast in Louisville for the River--you can search for "rivercast" in the iTunes store (free).
