I've looked at that one before. Here's one that's sponsored by UW that has good info on tides, currents, etc. It's not the most user friendly in the world but it does help with planning. It does take awhile of playing with it to really get familiar with all the screens that are available.

Another good source of info is Northwest Yachting magazine. Starting in the January issue, each issue has lists of marinas, fuel docks, boat yards, yacht clubs, etc. Lots of other good info on the PNW in the magazine too.

You can pick them up free at any boating related store, or subscribe if you can't find a local store that carries them.
