My boat has what I guess should be considered a "cooler" in the swim platform. While I doubt it's insulated or anything it is a pretty big tub and can hold quite a few cold ones! Problem is, the drain allows the ice to melt and drain right out so it doesn't last long. Is there a plug for this type of drain? Not sure what one might look like if there is.

Maybe you can trim out that inner ring. I bought some rubber stoppers and screwed picture hooks into them for all my drains.

Measure the diameter and search on amazon. There are even some that sit on top of the entire drain and work quite well.

Looks like a standard igloo cooler drain. Check Amazon. I 2nd Duck Tape as an interim solution.

The he center unscrews if you want to wine stopper it.

The center piece unscrews. I second Duck Tape as an interim solution.

I hadn't noticed that! Thanks, I'll give that a try. I know Menards sells all sorts of sizes of rubber plugs. I bet I can find one to fit.
