I have several of these round parts that have loops coming out of my boat cover that go around the parts. They are made of plastic and are so sun damaged that they are literally crumbling apart. This is the only one I could find that's intact.
Do you know what these are called? I can't seem to find them anywhere, but since I don't know what they are called, I don't have a search term to find them. I suspect they were not really designed for boat covers since you can't find them anywhere under stock 'boat cover hardware' searches. But then again, this boat cover setup was done in 1989 so maybe it was common back then.
I'd like to avoid having to have a machinist make them from scratch. Since all it is doing is holding a stretchy loop from the cover, if you know of something round with a groove like this that would function the same (preferably stainless steel!) please let me know.
Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
