please help my baby sister

Sorry guys didn't see your posts until now. Thank you very much guys. Brian thank you very much for the offer but I have to say I don't think I could have asked for a better hospital, the doctors and care are absolutly amazing! Mother tells me they are taking amazing care of her. I'm not aloud to visit and really nobody is due to her am amune system being competently gone. She could always so in to tell her how much hey brother loves her since I really can't real to her but other then that. ......

Update
The donator donated his or her stem cells on may 5th and there awaiting plantation in a freezer in Sloan.
She was suppose to get her bone marrow transplant on the 5th aswell but tests detected something and everything got pushed back.
So now
Alley was admitted to Sloan on Saturday
Today is day 4 of extensive chemo she did great the first two days but yesturday her conditions started to decline. I guees the normal chemo sickness.
Tomorrow is a one day radiation therapy day and
Friday is
TRANSPLANT DAY
then 6 to 10 weeks of Recovery in the hospital then up to 120 days of daily our patient visits.
Keep praying everybody next 2 weeks are gunna be the worst for her as the chemo side effects kick in.

We wish her the best it's going to be a rough roller coaster ride for all especially her.

I know what your going through my younger brother has had an LVAD (heart pump) for over 3 years waiting on a heart transplant he's been in and out of the hospital so many times in the last 7-8 years we've lost count well over 100 hospital stays. He has a rare blood type with a large heart cavity which makes it almost impossible to get a heart.

Hang in there it can be overwhelming.

If there is anything, anything at all, just let us/me know.

Where praying, keep us updated I understand right now you will not get much time to update..

Thanks everybody.
Unfortuanetly time is the worst part of this. I have to much of it when I shouldn't.
Since her white cells are completely gone and she has no immune system Inobody is tally aloud to visit her. If she catches even a small cold it could very well kill her or set her back very very far and worth my daughter being sick the pay 2weeks is not agood idea so when I should be visiting her every day I havnt seen her in a few weeks so it's even worse so yea just sucks

X, There are no words to truly portray what your family is going through. My heart bleeds for you guys. What I do know is " and of HIS fullness have all we received,
and grace for grace." "The fullness of his that filleth all in all." That fullness that was complete along time ago brings us a sure hope that we can stand on for all
of eternity and the here and now. Healing for healing is part of that fullness. I am praying that HIS fullness brings complete healing, joy and peace to your sister and your family.
GOD speed, JC

Alley has recieved her transplant! 16 to 21 days to c the first sign of results! Keep praying!

That's fantastic news, Jonathan! I hope your sister recovers soon.

So just a little update for those following.
It's been 11 days since her first chemo treatment 7 Days since her radiation treatment and 6 days since her stem cell/marrow transplant.
After 7 Days of hell. Chemo and radiation side affects allie girl is doing much better. Her side effects are slowly subsiding her appetite is very slowly returning she's up and about the hospital and her spirits are up. Not alot but a bit.
We're all waiting for her blood cell and plattlets numbers to rise above the zero mark but the hospital says it takes time so everything is going according to plan and on schedule.
Keep the prayers coming, they seem to be working.
Many thanks and much love sent from my family to you and yours.

Sounds great Jonathan, I'm not much on the praying thing but I've been cheering her on just the same...one step at a time.:smt038

Good to hear X! Hope she continues on the road to recovery!

For once (ok maybe more than once) I'm right there with Woody

Update

14 days post transplant
The good news
Most chemo side effects are drastically subsiding. Although still present at times they are intermittent not constant.
Her bones hurt alot. Kinda like sleeping wrong but every inch of her body. Why is this good news? Because that's the first sign of the bone marrow reforming in her bones!
The best news is her white cells count as of yesturday am was .5 which is the highest is been in 3 months! She's been coming up in count about .1 a day although that fluctuates is still good

The bad
Hair loss has brought her down in spirits bit that's just temporary.
Some side effects continue
She's been locked in a 10x 10 room for 3 weeks and is starting to go alittle stir crazy.

So for the first time in months the good out weights the bad

More good news to come in the near future!
