This boat has had so much awesome work done to it. I am now just waiting for LazyDaze to get some time to help me with the dark charcoal carpet to finish it off.
It has been lucky enough to have insurance pay for the gelcoat to be redone. Both sides has been done and it has removed the sunburn from the old stickers and made the yellow really pop.

I now have some 2011 sport decals that I have purchased and am having them remade into my own colours. So it is to be a 2006 model with 2011 stickers, bearing in mind that Sea ray never made yellow boats in 2011.

So it will be one of a kind.

It has brand new yellow bucket seats so the entire upholstery is being redone as well and the sunpad being made thicker.

The decals are being changed from black and white super sporft to grey and white. The stripes that go along the side will be one yellow and one grey.

I would love to know what you guys think this boat would like with 2011 stickers on it.

Here is a picture of the difference of the gelcoat....... (no paint, complete gelcoat only...... http://i.imgur.com/ZFFtsMq.jpg

Photos of the stickers (remember i am changing them to yellow and grey) is here..... http://i.imgur.com/1fzOeDQ.jpg

and here are the seats that lazydaze found me the day after i already spent $1400 AUD on buying seats in white from GLS .

I mean who finds these hidden away brand new after ten years. So stoked to have had these sorted for me. Dennis has helped me so much that I ahve purchased him a DJI phantom 4 in return for his hard work has he has done so much running around for me with quotes and such. Yes it might sund expensive but I have spared no expense on this boat so what is a bit more. Someone makes me this happy, I can only return the favour

Photo of original decals make the boat look short, while long lined decals makes it look longer.

Am i making a mistake taking this boat and putting newer model stickers on it despite the newer model being exactly the same. I have already replaced the plastic cupholders with stainless steel and replaced the dash with yellow and black newer model gauges.

Please take note that insurance made most of this reality and over here people are selling their same mdoel boats with the V6 for $41k and the v8 carbbie foir $45k.
Without carpet and towers.

Mine is in mint condition, i paid $29k and had so much work done on it but i myself am into this for about $35k so I figure with my v8 MPI and tower and everything new basically, including all the new parts on the motor that if someone was looking to buy this model boat and they had these to choose from and then had mine to choose from with a price tag of $37k that I should be able to get $35k back out of it after using it for a few summers . it is always being towed now with a full cover custom cover and garaged.

So I think i should get my money back and it end up being a good way to save money and have a boat to use for free..

Check out the other models for sale here in Australia (only 4 or 5)

I would like to hear if people think I should go with the newer model sport decals which i love and are currently being made for me in my colours, which i will then sell the brand new ones I purchased of the superr sport and also the brand new tribal ones.

I just think long lines make it look better. I also think it looks good without decals but a boat without decals screams repair job.

Please take your time to view the boats listed for sale i ahve supplied to understand the position i feel i have.
I have brand new tower, gelcoat all redone, all cracks done, and weeks of rubbing and wet sanding 8 hours a day for weeks.
New monster tower and bimini, new bucket seats, new dash and gauges, new carpet about to be made, brand new engine parts and a V8 MPI, custom made cover and custom made bow cover, respray of the ski locker and bilge area but sprayed with flocoat.

Would you buy one of those that are for sale for $44k when you could buy mine for $35k? What would you choose?

Also please let me know opinions of new model stickers on older model boat.

Oh, i also have brand new ice bins and have loads if anyone wants to buy any. Just contact lazydaze for details and pricing.

ALSO am i making a mistake making the SPORT decal grey instead of black? There is no black on my boat so I figured to stick with grey but now I look at this blue boat and notice they too have no black but have black decals.

I just thought grey and white over the yellow and grey alog the top and yellow along the top would look right.

I have time to make changes so please advise

Could anyone please sell me a 'L' bench seat edition piece or loan me theirs to take a mould of it? Id even swap my brand new white bucket seats which are original sea ray ones for the L shapped seat

Your post gave me a headache. Black boot stripe is all you need. Boat looks great. Don't get any graphic that has "sport" on it. My 2 cents. Take it for what it's worth.

I had a bunch of different graphics made up after digitizing the super sport logos and the tribal designs.
Will probably just use a couple of lines along the upper hull. With a raised foam 195 Decal.

I will put the swoosh sport logo on seeing i made it in my colours of grey and white, but thats just to see what it looks like as I am super curious.

I love working on my boat.

1st, the boat looks great! If it were me I would either find the original graphics from when the boat was new or just put a black boot stripe on it. I am not a big fan of tricking things up, either keep it OEM or go with a simple, classic look. The yellow hull with a black boot stripe would look great - just IMHO.

There are two ways to go .You can go over the top and personalize the boat to your taste or stay OEM. OEM will never hurt resale or effect what you think the boats worth.Personalizing it on the other hand may or may not help resale plus you will want to try to get your cost back from what you put in it.I would say if you plan on owning the boat for a while then do up the boat any way you want it's your boat make it yours but if you are planing on buying something different in the near future then stay close to OEM.
