A while back someone ask about port windows that had yellowed. I have used semichrome metal polish on plastic for years. The headlights and turn signal lenses on my 1996 suburban had yellowed, so I gave it a try on them. I also used it on my stern sorrento emblem that had turned white and it worked great on it. The pic with my wife in it was the only one I had of the emblem. She won't be happy that I used it. Oh well. I could have used a headlight refinishing kit, but it was a little pricey. I did the drivers side headlight in about 5 minutes.

I have been using Blue Magic plastic & plexiglass cleaner for years on headlights. It makes them look like new, but I found that after car washes I usually had to polish them again.

Recently I rubbed the dock at the boat ramp and managed to hit right on that pretty oval black Sea Ray emblem on the side. It scratched it real bad and I was bummed the whole drive home thinking I would have to replace it (I love that emblem!).

I used the Blue Magic and a lot of elbow grease and that thing looks as good as new now! I also used it on some of the gel coat around that area and it removed all of those scratches as well. So far, it all still looks good as new.
