I have a 37' 1997 Sea Ray Sundancer. I was going to repair the side vent covers until I took a closer look. It turns out to a plastic of some sort. Any suggest on material use to repair the plastic part.

do you mean the vent covers that air out the bilge (the blowers exhaust from them)? they are replaceable (see page 5 of the PDF below, item #8). Heaven knows what they cost and how hard it is to get them off. couldnt help you there but armed with that part #, any marine max would be happy to take your money for a new one! they took mine (mine were only $12 each).
