About 11-12 years ago a neighbor and her 4 year old daughter were killed when a plane tried to make an emergency landing on the highway, they didn’t see it coming thank god.

We have the Blue Angels come to Seattle every year for SeaFair. The do the low pass over water and I've had them come about 50' over our boat. You can feel the heat from the engines after they pass and you'd better have your fingers in your ears.
