pitot tube blocked by bent metal

Howdy. Sure this has been discussed. Just picked up a nice one owner sea ray. Only minor deficiencies but speedo not working as leading edge of leg has seen a little action. I searched around for the pitot tube entrance and it appears to be hidden by some mashed over metal.afyer taking a small hit years ago. What's the best way to uncover the tube entrance? File it it access the opening?
