Hey all, I wanted to post an event notice about our 4th annual Pirates of Lanier-Poker Run, to be held the weekend of July 21st. This is a charity event held to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and The Naval Special Warfare Kids charities.

- Friday July, 20th- On the water BBQ during the day, Captains Party and Poker Run Registration, "Miss Castaway's" swimsuit pageant (qualifying event for Venus swimsuit calendar
- Saturday July 21st- Poker run starts tenative at 10am to 5pm, awards at 6pm. We will cap off the event at 8pm with a concert by "Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project" (founder/lead singer of Collective Soul) and a fireworks and laser light display as a finale.

We will have all kinds of boats on display and entered including several Turbine driven MTI's and I beleive the owners of Pier 57 Marine are bringing in some really awesome superboats.

Anyway I hope I got all that right. I am on the board of directors of the Lanier Partners and welcome any and all of our Club Sea Ray members to join us for a couple days of fun for great charities. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or check out our website for more info or to register: www.lanierpartners.org There is also a sponsorship page if you would like to have your business featured. We have some great photos up of last years event that should give you an idea of the festivities and hope to add many more to the 2012 page.

Regards, Dan Schneider

I am so doing the event this year. You will see my registration in the next couple of weeks.

I signed up this past weekend. I can't wait for the raft-up on Friday.

Great, please check out the website for location of the raft up and say hello at the captain's party Friday Night, I will be manning the beer tent or buffet tables. I hope some other Sea Ray enthusiasts make it as well. Dan

I wish I had made it this year! My buddy brought up his cigarette - yellow and blue "Shake N Bake" for it. Heard it was a blast...looking forward to Destin next weekend.
