You will not see me board that boat!

Live aboard dock mate in Richmond had an Iguana on the boat. I used to watch that thing sun on the deck.

That cat is not a Cheetah. It is a Serval. Big difference. Cheetahs are aggressive and can kill a human although we are not their preferred prey. Servals are also wild but less aggressive and are legal pets in various States. We had a dock neighbor in Harbor Springs with two of them on board their 55 foot cruiser. The animals were interesting to watch but not particularly friendly to strangers. I would not want to own one but having one next door would not bother me.

One of my tennis clubs pays to bring about a 100 goats out to clear the underbrush, I love those little guys.

I'm going to go on a different tack. I think the best "pets" to have on board are grandkids. Put them in a pfd so they know they're on a boat and there are different acceptable behaviors than on shore. They can uses the head, they clean up their toys at the end of the day and they're fun to have on board.
